Comfort is a good gift until it becomes your coping strategy and your compass. Pleasure and convenience promise relief, but what you use to escape eventually starts to isolate you from the very people God uses to strengthen and comfort you. Escapism is the opposite of living in biblical community, sharing burdens, and receiving comfort from one another. This week is about naming what you run to when life gets heavy and discovering a better refuge in Jesus and His people.
